Happy June!

I know, I know...I posted like a mad woman in May and then left you hanging! I will try to do better at updating this.

Really not much medically is going on. We saw Dr. Pal and he is still of the mindset of taking a break and see what happens and let his body recover. Gavin goes in for a blood test and visit before are Arizona trip and then will have a CT when we get back. Praying that everything has at least stayed stable. He is feeling pretty good, still fighting a little fatigue now and then. I think that he is more active now so that is what is making him tired instead of being medicinally fatigued. The Sanford's mentioned to me today that they think his color looks better. I am so up close with him 24/7 I hadn't even noticed his color was off but in retrospect they are so right. His color does look healthier. He's just waiting for his hair to grow back now!

Just a reminder about the 24 Hours of Booty bike ride we are participating in at the end of July. If you wish to ride or donate please go to http://www.active.com/donate/Booty2007/TourDeSharpe. You can donate to the team or click on a member's page and donate to an individual team member. At the top is also a link for you to register to ride with us. I know many of you have been touched personally by cancer so please think about supporting this fundraiser for cancer research. Also keep an eye on here...we will have t-shirts available and perhaps rubber wristbands too! (like the LiveStrong ones).

Most of you know that Drew loves to sing and is active in many choirs between church and school. This summer he will be participating in a choir camp at Greensboro College (North Carolina United Methodist All-State Youth Choir). He will stay at the college for half of a week and rehearse and get instruction. The second half of the week, Drew and the rest of the choir members will travel to various churches around North Carolina and perform concerts. If you are interested in seeing Drew and the choir the closest church they will be performing at is Mineral Springs UMC (about 30 mins. from our house) on Thursday, June 21st at 7:30 p.m. Feel free to call or email me if you want more info.

Lastly, only 23 days until our Arizona trip! I am so excited for this vacation as is the rest of the family. My goal right now is to post on here a few times while we are out there. I will need to figure out how to add some pictures too...maybe Kathryn can tell me how!

Take care and as always thanks for your thoughts and prayers!
Maria
