Guys and Dolls
Good news and bad news...The good news is that I finally have ticket prices-$10 for adults and $7 for students. The bad news is that they have had to cancel the Sunday matinee. From what I understand, the school has contracted the space out to a church for every Sunday so that space is unavailable for a school function. I am as bummed as everyone else. Reminder, the shows are March 1-3 at 7 p.m. If you would like to see the show please email me at msharpe69@hotmail.com or call me at 544-6574 and let me know what day you would like to attend and how many tickets you will need. I am guessing that I will be able to purchase tickets in about a week and it will be easier for me to purchase them all at once. Thanks for supporting Drew!
Misc.
Now about all the tests this week. Gavin's blood counts came back pretty good. From what I understand, the counts will always drop after chemo but hopefully will go back up before the next round. Red blood cells and white blood cells are good, going back up which is great news because that means he isn't confined to the house. Platelets were still a little low but Tam (the nurse) seemed to think that since the other counts were going back up that those probably were too. Pray that the platelets are bouncing back so that he can have chemo on Monday. They always do a blood test before treatment starts so we will just have to wait until then to find out.
Great news is that Gavin's brother and our niece arrived at about 3 in the morning for a weekend visit. We are very excited to spend some time with them...there will probably be a lot of Xbox 360 being played! Good thing I just started a new Bible study to keep me occupied!
One last thing before I go...
Happy Birthday Gavin! I love you!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Maria
