Well we finally heard back from Dr. Pal. He took another look at the PET scan and thinks he sees some activity on the liver as well. This excludes radiation as a method of treatment and just leaves chemo.
Gavin will start his treatments using the same drugs as last time on Monday, Sept. 17th (almost 9 mos. to the day from diagnosis last Dec. but who's counting). At the moment all that we know is that treatments will be next Mon.-Wed. at 11 a.m. We don't know how many rounds this time, hopefully we will find out on Monday.
We also don't know what's going on with our trip to MD Anderson but are still under the assumption that we will be going. That's it for now.
