Gavin's mouth is doing well. Both docs still need to talk, they have been playing phone tag. At the moment, nothing else will happen this week. I am anticipating that we will let the bone work itself out and not opt for surgery. As soon as the bone does that, Gavin will be able to have chemo. I will update once we hear from either or both of the good docs!
Mackenzie and Austin are away at Camp Tekoa for the week. It sure is quiet around the house. Tekoa is pretty cool because they post pics every night that were taken throughout the day so you can see what your kids have been doing. They also have a way where you can email the kids. They print out the emails and deliver them at mail call. I really feel like I can stay connected to the kids even though I can't talk with them.
Drew is doing his mascot thing at Chik Fil A tonight...moooooooo!
Lastly, if you didn't know it, Wednesday is National Cheesecake Day and you can eat at The Cheesecake Factory and have a slice of cheesecake for $1.99 (dine-in). I am so there!
