It has been a hectic day. Poor Gavin has been miserable all day. The switch of the pain meds did not go as smoothly as we had hoped for. We think the new pain med did not sit well with him as he has been crampy and nauseaus with it. After a long wait, I finally was able to speak with a nurse at the pain specialists office and it was determined to switch him back to his original meds. Now the fight with the insurance company begins. They don't handle the switching back and forth of narcotics very well but I refuse to be punished financially for things which are beyone our control. So pray that we can get the insurance stuff figured out (in our favor) and more importantly pray that Gavin can get to feeling better. It breaks my heart to see him so miserable.
We also heard from Dr. Sharma's office. Gavin's oral surgery at CMC Pineville is scheduled for Thursday at 5 p.m. Of course he has to be there at 3 and probably will not leave until 8ish. Pray that all goes well and there are no complications.
Hopefully I won't have any new posts for you until post-surgery.
