Dr. Pal arrived about 6:30 am today. He let us sleep in 30 more minutes! Woo hoo! Gavin's liver levels have gone back to normal, praise the Lord. He was more then a little concerned about that. Since Gavin was still on the pump this morning he decided that Gavin would stay here at least one more night so we won't be leaving before sometime on Saturday.
Gavin (and I) got quite a bit of sleep last night. I definitely feel much more rested and I believe Gavin does as well. They got a little off on the timing of his meds today so he has playing a bit of catch up with the pain. Even though he has utilized the pain pump today, he wants to give it a go and stop it later this afternoon. He will continue to control pain just thru oral meds. The hope is that he will be able to control the pain this way but there is always the option of starting the pump again if need be.
I'll try and update later tonight once we make the switch. Hopefully it will be a happy post!
