Scan results are in!

We received encouraging news at Dr. Pal/chemo appt. today. The scans show that the current treatment plan has been effective in reducing the size of the tumors. They also showed that no new tumors have formed. Praise God! Gavin is going to continue with the same treatment program for another 2 rounds. So in about 7-8 weeks he will have another check-up scan.

Next appts: Mon. - Dr. Barkley, pain guru
Wed. - Dr. Sharma, oral surgeon guru
Thurs. - chemo

I feel so blessed that God has placed Gavin in such capable hands as Dr. Pal, Dr. Sharma, Dr. Hartman, and Dr. Barkley. I feel blessed that God has surrounded us with so many loving friends and family to support us. I feel blessed to have a God who continues to hold us in His loving arms and takes care of us when we can't take care of ourselves. I admit that this battle has been tough for me to completely turn over to God but I know in my heart that He understands. He patiently waits for me to work through my anxiety and fear and is right there ready to offer His peace and comfort.
