Well I think I exhalted in my last post that we didn't have any doctors appointments this week. I jinxed us! Gavin woke-up Sunday with his mouth hurting a little bit. It got progressively worse over the course of the day and on Monday. When he woke-up on Tuesday, he decided it was bad enough to call our fav doc, Dr. Sharma. At the moment, it is just an infection where he had the surgery. The gums are healing but since he is such a slow healer, he is prone to getting infections. Unfortunately Dr. Sharma can't definitively say that there is no more dead bone somewhere in there, but for the time being, he is not seeing any evidence of it. So Gavin is on his second round of antibiotics and we are hoping this kicks it for good.
Thanks to the Collards and Mauldins for dinner this week. Thanks to all the folks who came over and finished painting the house trim on Saturday - we appreciate it soooo much!
